Cindy Taylor


Cindy Taylor is CEO of The Cindy Taylor Group, LLC a unique business consultancy that connects business with community to facilitate positive change.  Ms. Taylor served as President of the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for 21 years, leaving September 30, 2011.  She also served as President of the Uvalde and Graham Chambers of Commerce for five years each.  She is married to Terry Boyd and is the mother of two children, Joshua and Patrick and a step-daughter Leisa.  Her favorite interests include playing in dirt & water, “Southern Sector” initiatives and spoiling her grandchildren.

Mr. Terry D. Boyd was most recently the Quality Assurance Manager for the Air Force Radiation Detection and Measurement Laboratory at Brooks City-Base until his position, and the laboratory, moved to Dayton, Ohio.   Prior to that he was the Senior Radiochemistry technician.  During his 28-year Air Force career, and 10 years as a civilian working for the USAF, he served in many capacities including, Superintendent of Laboratory Services at the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center and Superintendent of the Occupational and Environmental Health Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory.  These assignments afforded him extensive managerial and leadership experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets and large numbers of personnel.  He is married to Cindy Taylor and is the father of one daughter, Leisa, and two step-children, Joshua and Patrick.  His favorite interests are sports, reading, gardening, politics and especially his grandchildren.

He managed the operations of several medical laboratories during his career in the United States Air Force.   This provided invaluable experience in managing personnel, resources, and budget for these operations.  It also honed his skills in computer technology, computer programs, and accounting and book keeping operations.  These skills and sound business acumen will help any business and/or office to function at the highest level of expertise and efficiency.  As a Quality assurance Manager for eight years he developed a strong sense of attention to detail and quality in all products produced within the laboratory environment.  As an accomplished technical writer he is extremely accomplished in writing anything from technical manuals to business proposals.  He has a strong background in managing projects from conception to the final approved plan and managing all phases of the project to completion.  Having been an instructor for four years he also knows how to deliver a concept to the student (or other group or client) so it is easily understood, coherent, and comprehensive.
